Session descriptor: A positive school culture requires an holistic, human-centric approach. Head, Heart, and Hands Model encourages active participation, a balance of all voices and a focus on relationships. Due to the pandemic, the “heart” has received more consideration, but it is attention to all three elements that enables schools to succeed today and thrive to sustain a healthy culture. Hands, Head, and Heart Model is an approach with an objective to elevate connections and collaborations which include opportunities for critical thinking and reflection which directly impact student learning. During this workshop, participants will: ● . ● Self reflect on your own leadership style using the “Heart, Head and Hands” approach. ● Develop a toolkit of “Heart, Head and Hands” strategies for each element.
