Course description

When we are all bombarded with different trends regarding various curriculums in education, leaders are seeking to facilitate and build pathways for students to find their own place in the world and their purpose. It is a challenge to benchmark high standards within our team and for the students, and equally model a high level of passion, to engage and inspire excellence. Leaders need to provide new opportunities to broaden thinking and promote inquiry-based learning. And most of all, we need to build a culture of continuous improvement striving for continued excellence. During this workshop, participants will § Be introduced to the basic principles of Backward Curriculum Design § Have opportunities to discuss provoking and engaging questions that leads to a sustained inquiry process § Develop an understanding of important conceptual or philosophical issues in curriculum design.
