Our Beijing school has two campuses, catering to different age groups and learning needs. The City Campus is for Early Years and Year 1, equipped with excellent facilities. • To be familiar with China’s national Mathematics Curriculum and lead in the teaching and assessment across years 6-10 in all areas of Chinese Mathematics curriculum content, ensuring the implementation of Chinese Mathematics Curriculum meet both local and national government requirement.
• To lead Mathematics staff in meeting the local standards of curriculum and assessment.
• Lead all Mathematics Xuekao related assessments, formal exams, data collection, collation and reporting.
• To lead the Mathematics departments with the collection and collation of other required data for Chinese Education and the government.
• To bring up suggestions and methods of improving students’ attainment and parents’ communications.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation throughout the year for the EBD and submit with thin the time frame.
• To work with Chinese Curriculum team to design all Mathematics extra curriculum.
• Participate in meetings, trainings and CPD sessions organised by the EDB and report to Head of Mathematics and Assistant Head Chinese Provision.
• Attend meetings designed to share information necessary for the smooth running of the school and the successful delivery of its programmes.
• Take responsibility for mentoring new teachers, particularly those with whom a functional relationship exists.
• Supervise students during non-period time as determined by the duty rota.
