About School:

Our campus, opened in August 2022, comprises two separate K-12 schools. This enhances a broad education enabling students not only to have a truly international educational experience but also to receive a rich Chinese language and culture education.

We provide an international (IB) curriculum to students holding foreign passports. We will offer boarding in order to provide an education option to families across the greater Wuhan metro area as well as Hubei and neighboring provinces. By coming to our school, staff and students will join a connected family of schools that will continue to grow over time.

We will cater for Chinese nationals, offering the Chinese curriculum for Years 1-9, leading into the senior international secondary qualifications. It is envisaged that the two schools, while legally separate, will form a model of collaboration and cross-cultural understanding. As such, the Heads of School need to be committed to working together towards achieving the School’s Mission of leveraging off the best of the East and the West.

About Job:

• plan, prepare and deliver activities that facilitate active teaching and learning experiences
• support and participate actively in curriculum development
• identify and select different resources and approaches to meet the teaching and learning requirements
• use relevant technology to support teaching and learning
• observe and evaluate student's performance and development
• provide appropriate feedback on students' coursework
• encourage and monitor the progress of students' performance and development
• maintain accurate and complete records and reports of students' progress and development
• deliver appropriate classroom management
• participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs and student organizations
• participate in department and school meetings, parent meetings
• communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and needs
• keep updated with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities

About You:

• • Strong command of English
  • Holder of Bachelor's Degree or higher with Major in Computer Science
  • Attained recognized teacher qualification (e.g. B.Ed., M.Ed, PGDE/PGCE)
  • Not less two years in full-time teaching at A-level curriculum in mainstream school setting
  • Well-versed in various teaching resources including digital tools to support and enhance teaching and learning
  • Sensitivity to the cultural differences
  • A willingness to actively participate in the academic enrichment and co-curricular programmes

• Salary Range: RMB 30K-45K/month before tax
