About School:

The School is an IB PYP and MYP authorized school, and DP candidate school with more than 500 day and boarding students in grades 1-10 (expanding to grade 11 next school year), with our first IB DP graduating class expected in Spring 2025. We are, teaching Chinese and international students in the same class, following the same curriculum. We model international education in a Chinese context, preserving the heritage of our students while valuing diversity. Our program is delivered in English with additional courses in Chinese language, literature, and culture.

About Job:

• • Plan, teach and review the subject curriculum according to school curriculum standards.
  • Differentiate classroom instruction to meet student’s individual learning needs and styles.
  • Explicitly teach Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.
  • Employ a constructivist, inquiry-based pedagogical approach to teaching and learning that promotes inquiry and the development of critical-thinking skills.
  • Provide learning experiences that build on what students know and can do.
  • Employ a range of teaching and learning strategies to promote independent thinking, inquiry and acquisition of subject specific knowledge and skills.
  • Promote and foster student reflection on learning experiences.
  • Foster a stimulating learning environment based on understanding and respect.
  • Empower students to take self-initiated action as a result of the learning.

About You:

• • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Valid teaching certificate
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in International schools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IB curriculum and the needs of students.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

• • Salary Range: RMB 31K-45K/month before tax
