About School:

It is a nonprofit bilingual institution in Hong Kong committed to cultivating the global leaders of tomorrow. Located in the Kowloon East area, our campus will initially offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) for students in Grades 1-5.
Our mission is to carry forward Chinese cultural heritage while expanding international horizons, guiding students to become empathetic and capable global citizens grounded in their cultural identity.

• • The ability to engage with students with a variety of learning styles and to engender enthusiasm for learning in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Being flexible in teaching methodology and demonstrating a willingness to work collaboratively.
  • Establishing classroom environments that are demanding, stimulating, hardworking, focused and pleasant to be in.
  • Providing feedback appropriately and regularly to students.
  • Assessing and responding to student abilities and progress and adapting approaches where appropriate to different individual learning styles.
  • Writing reports and testimonials as required within the deadlines set.
  • Maintaining an in-depth familiarity with the appropriate curricula and current teaching trends and developments.
  • Participating enthusiastically in Professional Development, both that which is mandated by the School and that which is identified by the teacher.

About You:

• • A Bachelor’s Degree or above
  • Experience of curriculum planning and development and significant experience of delivering IB curriculum in your subject.
  • Hold a teacher certificate
  • Be good at communicating with students and stimulate their initiative in learning.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and team work spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to professional development.
