The English language classes offered at the secondary level are multidisciplinary in nature. The literature taught in English class is integrated with other subjects, including science, arts, music, and more. The class period is structured to encourage inquiry, emphasize teamwork, and prioritize presentations, inspiring students to explore the subject matter actively. Students are expected to refine their writing skills through engaging in both thoughtful and creative writing exercises.
As an English/Humanities teacher at the Secondary level, you shall:
● Collaborate with colleagues to define learning outcomes, monitor student progress, and concentrate on individual student needs
● Assist students in developing the skills necessary to enhance their English language learning
● Be open to building relationships with both parents and colleagues to create an atmosphere of welcome, encouragement, and transparency
